today in literary we learned we  had to make a forest with a bear  on drive it was easy we had to make the  sentences better

this week in literacy we looked at Horton hatches the  egg book the book was about  this elephant who sits on a birds nest and then Horton got so rounded by hunters but then taken in  a wagon and the he got sold to a circus  and then the egg hatched into a elephant bird. 

today in homeroom time we did puzzles we went on a web site and inserted a Te Reo Maori days of the week and we put it it all together

for the pass week we have been reading a book called NAMS VIOLIN.  he begged his  mother to buy  him a violin. He  said the  music is sad and sweet and thrilling all at once

In  literacy we read a story The Day the Crayons Quit .  We talked about the feelings of the crayons. We looked at Blue Crayons Letter. We had to use speech bubbles to show what the crayons  said in the story.

In reading we are leaning to summarise. we read a newspaper article  about the first moon landing  in 1969. We  had  to pick out the key words and put them into sentences.

Hey guys i am mr clar clar clarence  and i like treats” they are so so YUMMY” my favorite treats   are duck treats and chicken treats as well. My favorite toy is a cat . my best friend  is Lower and Ruby they come to are house and walk past and they stop and talk and i love them. Going on a bear hunt in math we are learning about directions we listened to the story going a bear hunt  we picked out the obstacles in the story we then drew a map of the story we had to carefully think about the story then we had to write the directions from the house to the cave we had to use are book to draw it in.

In math we are learning about coordinates. We  learnt that you say the letter before the number. Our map was about the story. Little Red Ridding Hood. We  had to do 2 thing first we had to draw the pictures in the right coordinates. Then we had to write on the sheet were they were.

This week we have been reading Mameluke  duck  books  and the teacher has been reading  it if  yore not firmly   it  is about  a duck who has  Mameduke  duck  is a duck who likes marmalade jam he loves marmalade jam.

hay readers.Today in writing we did some learning about kindness it something that spreads through your body and heart.first we did a brain storm about what kindness is.Then we share our ideas to the teacher and she write our ideas on a big sheet of paper.Then we went on to a google doc and write a poem about what kindness is about.here is my kindness poem.

learning about hockey

Today in the morning we went to play hockey on the court .We got taught by Peter from Canterbury Hockey how to dribble the ball  and dodge the other players.  Then we played  rob the nest.   We  had to get the  balls out of the hoops .
We had to dribble the balls to the hoops.
I found  dodging the other players hard to do.  I liked dribbling the ball the best.  It was easy. a  new things i learnt today was how to dodge other players .
